To safely lower a rescue boat from a ship, davits are produced in all shapes and sizes, using different mechanisms. About Davits
Depending on the lifting requirements, the davits use manual or hydraulic slewing, with a pivoting A-frame if needed. The davits have a small footprint and are so-called ‘’plug and play’’, guaranteeing easy installation on board. Each system will be supplied with accessories as electric controls, wire rope and remote control parts. All davits meet the latest IMO/SOLAS requirements and LSA code as well as the European Council Directive 96/98 EC on Marine Equipment (M.E.D.).
